
Nancy Pineda-Gama
Nancy Pineda-Gama is currently attending El Centro Community College where she is working towards an associate degree in Science, and plans to transfer to a four-year university to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies. In addition to her role as a Mackenzie Fellow at the Trinity River Audubon Center, Pineda-Gama has served as an after-school exploration coach at Big Thought, a Dallas education non-profit, and has worked with Dallas Parks and Recreation, Dallas Life, and the North Texas Food Bank. She is a member of LULAC (The League of United Latin American Citizens), Mu Alpha Theta, and Phi Theta Kappa. Nancy Pineda-Gama also graduated from Irma Rangel Young Women's Leadership School in Dallas, the first all-girls public high school in Texas. Her goal is to pursue a career in Environmental Education.
